Job Summary:

The CFO for 21st CESL group of companies to oversee all financial aspects of the group’s business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning.

The CFO will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

FINANCIAL PLANNING AND INVESTMENTS
  • Make sound investment decisions to increase the group’s portfolio.
  • Monitor the performance of investments including creating reports using business software
  • Analyze trends to reduce financial risks associated with making investment or spending decisions
  • Have a strong understanding of fiscal policy and investment regulations.
  • Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each the companies and department in the long term.
  • Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system
  • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
  • Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
INTERNAL PROCESS
  • Conduct quarterly review and perform analysis on market trends
  • Actively engaged in the process of development and management of the company budget
  • Re-evaluate the governance framework of the company
  • Continuously plan and organize the work of the team to accomplish strategic and operational goals effectively.
  • Provide solutions to issues like profit decline, employee conflicts, and loss of business to competitors.
  • Develop a detailed documentation of all internal control processes across the group of companies to ensure sound financial management and control of the group's business.
  • Prepare and outline complex models into simple terms that team members can work with.
  • Offer advice to the board of directors regarding spending and budget questions.
  • Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.)
  • Hire and oversee leaders in the finance and accounting departments, including giving directions and delivering periodical evaluations.
  • Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Finance and investment.
  • Must possess or be ICAN or ACA certified.
  • Must have an understanding of investment sourcing and investor management.
